What is "Sendwave Rewards"?

Sendwave Rewards is our way of saying thank you for sending with Sendwave. Every time you send money, you earn points - and you can redeem those points against rewards like no fee* transfers or one or more entries into our prize draws.

At this time Sendwave Rewards is only available to our customers residing in the United Kingdom.

How do I earn points?

You earn 10 (ten) points for every £1 you send. Points are added to your balance automatically after your transfer is completed (usually within 24 hours) - there's nothing extra you need to do.

When will my points become available?

Points are added to your pending balance automatically, and usually become available to redeem within 24 hours of a successful transfer. If a transfer is cancelled, refunded or is not completed, the points associated with that transfer are revoked. 

Where can I see my points?

Open the app and go to the Rewards tab. You'll see your points balance, your rewards, and a full history of everything you've earned and spent.

Do my points expire?

Yes, points are valid for 12 months from when they land in your available balance, expiring at the end of that final month. We always use your oldest points first, so the points you've had longest are spent before newer ones. 

What can I redeem my points on?

Right now you can redeem points for a no or reduced fee* transfer, which removes or reduces  the transfer fee on a transaction. Or, you can redeem points on a prize draw entry, which enters you into our monthly prize draw for a chance to win bigger prizes. More methods of redeeming your points are on the way.

How do I use a no fee* reward?

When setting up a transfer, switch your no fee* reward “on” to use it. You’ll see the transfer fee drop before you confirm. You can switch the reward off again before making a transfer if you don't want to use it. 

What happens to my no fee* reward if my transaction is cancelled?

If a transaction is cancelled or fails for a technical reason, your reward goes straight back into your available rewards so you can use it again. Rewards used on completed transfers can't be returned.

How does the prize draw work?

Redeem your Sendwave Rewards points for a prize draw entry and you’ll be entered into that month’s draw. Each prize draw runs from the first to the last day of the month.

Will I be notified if I’ve won a prize?

Yes. Winners are selected after the month ends and are notified by email. For an alternative method of entry please see our terms & conditions.

Can I get my points back after redeeming them for a Prize Draw entry?

No, once you've used points for a prize draw entry, they can't be returned, even if you don't win. Each ticket is a separate entry into the prize draw.

Why didn't I earn points on my last transfer?

Transfers sent from outside the United Kingdom will not earn points.

How can I opt-out of Sendwave Rewards? 

You can opt-out at any time by contacting customer services through our in-app chat. Once your opt-out is processed, you'll stop earning points and rewards. Any points or rewards in your account will be removed.
