Sendwave Consumer Deposit Cash Bonus Terms and Conditions
Chime Inc., d/b/a Sendwave (“Sendwave”) offers certain qualified customers the right to earn cash bonuses, paid to their Sendwave PayAccount, upon the terms and conditions outlined in this description (the “Bonus Programs”). These Terms and Conditions are a part of the Sendwave Consumer Deposit Account Agreement (the “Agreement”), to which you have agreed in order to open an account with us. Terms not otherwise defined in this description have the meanings set out for them in the Agreement. If there is any conflict or discrepancy between the Agreement and these Terms and Conditions, the terms of the Agreement will prevail.
We have the right to modify or terminate the Bonus Programs at any time, upon notice to you. If we modify or terminate a Bonus Program, any bonuses or other benefits that you have earned under the Bonus Program will be paid to you through the date of modification or termination.
Bonus for Recurring Deposits
We will pay you a cash bonus equal to 1% of the amount of all monthly recurring deposits paid into your Sendwave PayAccount each calendar month, up to a maximum of $10.00 per month and up to a maximum of $20.00 overall for the duration of the Bonus Programs, if you meet the following criteria:
a. You have opened a Sendwave Pay Account and it remains in good standing.
b. You establish one or more recurring deposits into your Sendwave Pay Account totaling $500.00 or more each calendar month.
c. You have not cancelled or reduced the total value of recurring deposits to less than $500.00, or had a recurring deposit declined or returned for insufficient funds or any other reason, during the calendar month.
Sendwave will credit your Sendwave Pay Account with your bonus within ten business days following the end of each calendar month in which you qualify.
You do not need to maintain a minimum balance in your Sendwave Pay account, use a promotional code, or pay any account maintenance fee in order to be eligible for a bonus for your recurring deposits. The program will run from March 01, 2023 to April 30, 2023.
Bonus for Debit Card Use
If you have activated a Sendwave Pay Visa® debit card associated with your Sendwave Pay Account and your Sendwave Pay Account remains in good standing, we may pay you a cash bonus for certain uses of your debit card if you are selected for the bonus for debit card use program. Eligibility is randomly determined if you have met the above criteria set forth in the section on Bonus for Recurring Deposits. We will pay you a bonus equal to 1% of the value of qualified purchases in any calendar month.
For example, if you have completed $500.00 inqualified purchases, we will pay you $5.00 in cash bonus. If you have completed$1,000.00 in qualified purchases, we will pay you $10.00 in cash bonus
Only certain purchases qualify for this cash back bonus program. A purchase is a qualified purchase if it meets the following criteria:
a. The purchase is made using your Sendwave Pay Visa® debit card.
b. Sendwave earns a share of interchange for the purchase. Interchange is a transfer fee between financial institutions.
c. The purchase is not on the not eligible list below.
The following uses of your Sendwave Pay Visa® card are not eligible, and will not be included in our calculation of purchases eligible to earn a cash back payment from us for your debit card use:
a. The purchase of gift cards or prepaid cards.
b. Cash withdrawn from an ATM, at a bank counter, or other facility offering cash for the value on your Sendwave Pay Visa® card.
c. The purchase of items convertible to cash (for example, travelers cheques, money orders, casino chips or credits, lottery tickets, or cryptocurrency).
d. The transfer of funds to an e-wallet, credit or stored value card, or bank account.
e. Bill payment services.
f. Check or card cashing services.
g. International money transmission
h. Transactions occurring outside the United States, or denominated in any currency other than US dollars.
i. Any purchase that is unauthorized, disputed, returned or charged back.
