Promo Code Terms and Conditions

Promo codes provide new Sendwave users with a promotional credit that is added to the amount sent on their first qualifying transaction. The promo code must be entered in the Sendwave app before completing the first transfer, under the menu “👤” and then “Enter Promo Code.”

For Universal Wallet users, promo codes may also apply to the user’s first qualifying wallet funding, including where Sendwave specifies the use of a particular payment processor such as dLocal or sets a minimum funding threshold or matching rule for the promotional bonus.

Promo credits issued under a promo code are applied as promotional credit and may be used toward eligible Universal Wallet P2P transfers and Fiat Withdrawals, subject to the rule that promotional credit applied cannot exceed the amount of the underlying transaction and must remain as promotional credit when transferred to another user. Users may choose the amount of promotional credit to apply, up to the maximum permitted.

All other terms, restrictions, and eligibility rules applicable to referral credits apply equally to promo codes unless expressly stated otherwise. Promo credits may be withheld, cancelled, or reclaimed where Sendwave reasonably suspects fraud, abuse, violation of these terms, or violation of applicable law.
