Account verification protects your account and transactions so that you are the only one who can access your funds.
Data security is our top priority. We employ the following to ensure your information remains private and protected:
1. We encrypt all of your data as soon as it's entered into your phone.
2. We then send it to our servers using a 256-bit encryption connection — the leading industry standard.
256-bit encryption is a technique that uses a 256-bit key to encrypt and decrypt data or files. It is one of the most secure encryption methods out there and is used in most modern encryption algorithms, protocols, and technologies. Your data is encrypted as soon as you enter it into the Sendwave app, preventing any unauthorized individuals from having access to it.
We do a few things to help our users ensure that they are sending funds to the right person:
If you happen to send funds to the wrong recipient, please get in touch with us as soon as possible and we’ll try to help. Please note: we cannot reverse funds that have already been utilized, even by an unintended recipient.
Once a transaction has been made, you will receive an email notification. You will also see a notification under “Transactions” in your Sendwave app. When you initiate the transfer, it will show as “Pending” while processing. Once sent successfully, the status will change to “Delivered.”
The first thing you should do is change your password. Then, we recommend turning on two-factor authentication as an added layer of protection.
Finally, we ask that you check your transaction history. If you see transactions that you don’t recognize in your Sendwave app, please contact us immediately — we’ll be happy to assist you.
The best ways to protect your account are to enable two-factor authentication and create a strong, unique password.
If you are struggling to come up with a password, here are some suggestions:
